Gold Mastered Coffee Data Book: An Update
An excited note in anticipation of printing
The road to the final draft or the gold master for my book has been long. This is a short update and discussion about that journey.
The first two rounds of word editing finished in April, but graphical layout took much longer because of the number of images in the book. I prefer images over words, but even still, there are a lot of words.
June was spent on the smaller, final details that seemingly make a big difference. Everyday was completing another piece until finally, we were ready to go to the printers.
I say we because writing a book is a team event. At a bare minimum, there is an editor, a graphic designer, a writer, a printer, and a shipper. The main challenge is putting together a good team and figuring out how to move forward.
So I’m excited to share that the book has gone to the printer. The next step is to get a few sample pages printed. Once approved, the full book will have a full print run.
If you haven’t bought my book and are interested, you can still pre-order it. I have half of the book print run taken so far.
