I suppose. I originally titled it as such because I had the feeling most people who already knew police violence towards black people wouldn’t be surprised, but people who were on the fence or very much believed in all lives matter, they might be more drawn to posing the question rather than defending a statement.

The tricky thing with data is that if you’re relying on data to tell the story and drive the message, then the rest of the discussion has to revolve around that, and to get to people who don’t agree, I have to give an opening to get through the door that is shut in their mind.

That being said, yes, there could be a better title for the article. What do you think it should be?
